Two Castleford Lads

Themed in the mid 1980’s during the miners’ strike. Now eighteen, two youth’s from Castleford in the north of England become disillusioned. Broke and fed up, they leave the Yorkshire coalfields, and risk travelling south to try and obtain different work. Treating it as more of an adventure, it leads to one. They end up in France and from there, a whole new way of life begins, which they love every minute of. Their journey continues throughout Europe. Occasional problems arise, some they can laugh off, and others prove more dangerous. Eventually they are brought back down to earth, realising that home is where you make it. Follow their adventures.
